Reminiscing on a Lost Friend

"Gem is asleep, best we sleep as well, " said Krystal, "she'll be up very early."

"I'm not sure I can sleep... I know it is only this dimension's avatar that is gone, but 'Jormy', I mean Midgard, will be sorely missed... I know he often threatened to kill me, but I think that towards the end... well, he seemed more like a brother than an enemy..."

"You know," said Krystal, " that he rarely meant those threats, at least since we came to HR... I will miss him as well, at least til we meet in another realm."

They climbed into bed, snuggling to comfort each other, then each drifted off to sleep.
