SUGGESTIONS AND IS THE TREATMENT MORE EFFECTIVE BEFORE OR AFTER THE FEAST ?
ROLAIDS? PEPCID? PERHAPS NEXIUM? OR MAYBE DARE I SAY SOMETHINGTHING
PINKISH  LIKE SOME PEPTO PLEASE  I NEED AN ANSWER SOON THAT SMALL VOLCANIC
ISLAND SNACK I JUST HAD NEAR EASTER ISLAND IS GIVING ME HEARTBURN
MR BURPS ALOT

My dear SNAKELING,

My best suggestion would be some form of Calcium Carbonate...

The best source for the amount you'd probably require would be the Chalk Cliffs of Dover, England.

If you're in the area, you might as well swing by and visit Pinky-poo...

Sincerely, (Anti-Acid) Auntie Acid

Dear Auntie Acid,

I'm a new kid on the block - just trying to fit in. But, I have a small problem. Every time I approach one of the popular kids, he or she beats me up and takes my lunch money. What's a poor boy to do?

Signed, Harassed Hero-to-be.

Dear Harassed,

As you grow into the hero you are meant to be, you will rise in both power and skill.

As this occurs, fewer of those who now seem an insurmountable obstacle will remain so.

Perseverance is your best option, unless, of course, you have the means to procure massive amounts of Morphons.

Remember, this is a marathon, not a sprint.

Hope this helps.

Sincerely, Auntie Acid

I have to disagree with you're "long run" plan, Krystal.

This guy is getting his lunch money taken. How is he going to grow if he is starving all the time because he can't buy a sandwich?

My suggestion is he banks his money frequently and carries a credit card. That way he can keep his Bux and still get something to eat to help him grow into the hero he wants to be.

There will always be someone out there bigger, stronger, and hungrier out there, but a bit of planning can help keep you safe in the real world. Part of that planning is making friends to walk with you as you approach the popular kids. If they see you as an equal, or that they will get seriously beat up if they mess with you and your buds, then that respect may turn into something greater.

Best of luck,
C.H.

My dear Shiny Suit-

I heartily agree that Frequent banking, especially before a near-certain altercation, would be wise.

Joining a group of like-minded individuals is also good advice, particularly of one or more of them are in a position to afford those opponents with the incentive to forego the theft.

The pertinent information he requested, however, indicated that most of those he had approached had been rather hostile, at least in the short term.  Thus my advice that perseverance and growth remain valid strategies as well.

Thank you for your interest.

Sincerely, 'Auntie' Acid

Dear Auntie Acid,
It is strange, but I seem cursed never to win a league war battle.
This last one was a good example.  My team was ahead to three-quarters of the fight, but then one of our stronger team members was unable to show due to an outside situation involving their secret identity, resulting in their being unable to attack anyone and forfeiting all the fights where they were attacked.  So once again I am winless, despite having the stronger team (as it is clear that, had they showed, it would have been a victory for our team).
It takes a pretty nasty curse to ensure that a person can not win by indirect means such as damaging someone else.  As it is, I wish to congratulate all the winners out there, everyone put up good fights.  I am just wondering if I will have to sit out the next war so that my allies will have a chance of winning.
Do you know any good way to remove a curse?
Signed,
Cursed Not to Win

Dear CNTW-

I'd have to check you in person to be certain but is unlikely that a curse is to blame for this phenomena.

Curses tend to be placed on a location or sometimes a person, it's true, but this seems oddly specific to be caused by a curse, those are usually more general in nature.

I certainly know many forms of disenchantment spells, so if you could stop by my lab at the New Amsterdam campus, I'd be happy to try to determine the curse, if any, the curser, and to attempt its countering.

It is likely that the Law of Reciprocity (more commonly known as Karma) has already seen to an appropriate punishment if you indeed have been victimized by such a spell.

Hope to see you soon.

Re: Ask 'Auntie' Acid - a NEW feature

Highlander
Dear Auntie Acid:

I try to send out gifts to the friends I have made since I’ve started exercising my powers. I may miss a day here or there, but I seldom, if ever, miss consecutive days.

The most friends who have ever responded on any day has been two, which amounts to less than eight percent of my newly minted friends. Has anyone ever figured out a way to generate a more positive response from the other heroes?

Signed,

Bewildered B. Weakling

P.S. Thank you for response to my gifts!

Dear Bewildered-

It can be frustrating to give and give and give, and rarely see returns.

My personal strategy is to send what I need most to as many known players as Facebook gifting will allow.

It is much more likely that someone will hit the 'return gifts' button than send out gifts themselves.

As you make more in-game allies, your return gifts should increase.

Don't be discouraged if it takes a while.

Hope this helps

Sincerely, 'Auntie Acid' (KF)
