Kaijo in Tokyo

Astra
Keri was in her apartment when her adoptive mother came in.  The retire super hero Futurina just teleported into the apartment.  Keri looked at her and sighed.  This meant Futurina had seen something and needed to tell her what to do.
Futurina was dressed for combat she was wearing her blue leather armor with the silvery elven silk leggings.  Over the leggings she had her blue leather thigh high boots. Around her waist was a silvery sash made of elven silk.  She had on a blue leather bikers jacket with the collar flipped up.  She smiled, which with the shape of her eyebrows always made her look evil.
"Ah, there you are, Keri," Futurina began.  "You need to get ready and go to Tokyo.  Midgardsomr is going to attack.  He's under a bad influence, so try to talk some sense into him."
"Okay, but why are you dressed for battle if you want me to go to Tokyo?" Keri asked as she changed her clothes psionically with her psionic responsive nanites.
"I need to see Nova, and regretfully, help someone that I have bad blood with," Futurina said with a sigh.
"You're going to help Santa?" Keri was shocked.  "I thought you hated him?"
"I don't hate him," Futurina corrected.  "There is just something between us from the past that I don't want to talk about.  Suffice to say we don't see eye to eye on the subject."
"So, I'm to go to Tokyo to try and talk sense to Midgardsomr, while you face a demon from your past," Keri noted as she was getting ready to do multiple teleports to get to Tokyo.  "Why do I get the feeling I'm getting the short end of the stick?"
"Because I taught you well," Futurina smirked.  "Now get going."
"Wait," Astra stopped, "how are you going to get on the station?  You're not part of BADGE."
"Oh, I have my ways," Futurina replied.  "Besides, once Nova sees it's me he'll turn off the alarm.  He looks so old now." She disappeared in a flash of silver blue psionic energy.
"I wish I could see where I was going to appear in the future so I didn't have to do multiple jumps," Astra said a bit jealous as she disappeared in a flash of red psionic energy.  On her way to Tokyo...

Re: Kaijo in Tokyo

Astra
Astra was tired.  The battle in Tokyo took a lot out of her, but she was backed up by other telepathic heroes.  The Special holding cells were working but they still needed to keep the WMD league under sedation.  She was thankful she didn't have to do this a lone.  It was with a saddened sigh she looked at Midgardsormr.  He was not a nice hero, but she couldn't help but feel sorry for him.  She could hear Director Nova down the hall trying to interrogate Skelanimal.
She couldn't make out what he was saying and knew she couldn't leave her telepathic watch to eavesdrop.  She wondered if her adoptive parent, the elf called Futurina, talked with Nova.  She wanted to ask, but this was too important.
***
Futurina roamed the WMD's base.  She knew where she was needed.  As much as she didn't want to help Santa, she knew Krampus needed to be stopped.  He had managed to rebuild the Ruby.  That would make things harder.  Chase seemed to breaking her programming.  That was good all she would have to do is give Chase a little push.  What was going on with Strange Quark still puzzled her.
The amount of psychic skill Futurina had kept Krampus from noticing her.  Chase was trained to spot things so she had to more careful around her.  She found a little hiding spot and decided to send the signal to Santa.  She didn't dare send it to Gar, the poor boy wouldn't know who she was.  Getting through Santa's mental shields would be difficult, but not impossible.
She heard some commotion in the other room and knew Krampus had discovered Chase had broke his programming.  She needed to act fast.  She sent a telepathic cry to Santa as the Ruby began to hover in the air.

Re: Kaijo in Tokyo

Astra
Astra was in the Cafeteria of the BADGE station.  She was having a meal when the alarms sounded again.  She saw Director Nova leave with EB in a shuttle but he didn't bark orders to anyone.  That's when others turned on the news to find out what was going on.
The sun had dimmed and people were scared.  Red energy was collecting near Iceland and was brighter than anything else.  What could she do to help the others?  Her powers were psionic not light or heat.  She thought for a few minutes and came up with a plan of action.  She contacted other heroes she knew or knew of.  If this was to work they must work together.
***
Futurina teleported outside to see Krampus take Chase, Gar, and Strange Quark.  Krampus paid no attention to her as she walked over to the fallen Santa.  She could not believe Krampus was stupid enough to resurrect Her.  He always had been a power hungry fool.  She used her pyrokinesis to stay warm and cradled Santa.  She knew she had to heal him.  She knew she was to only one who could at this time.
"Why?" Futurina asked.  "Why should I help him?  He got me exiled from Alfheim so long ago.  He said I'm different for a reason.  I have been angry at him for so long, but he is needed.  I've lived amongst the humans for so many centuries and see how they revere him.  Maybe I should forgive him."
She placed her fingers on his temples and began to heal him.  Her Ice blue eyes glowed.  She could feel his damage begin to knit back together.  She waited for his eyes to open...

Re: Kaijo in Tokyo

Astra
Keri thought it was odd that the Director would send her to Turkey.  There was no uprising, and the people seemed pleasantly surprised to see her.  That's when she saw it.
There was a gigantic glowing red turkey just walking down the street.  The people were freaked out by it and running in terror.
Astra flew over and punched the monstrosity and it disappeared filling her with energy.  Then it dawned on her, That's what he meant by capture Turkeys.  Not the country, but these glowing fowls created by Strange Quark.
***
As Santa opened his eyes He saw the angry looking Futurina staring down at him.  "I'm sorry," was all he could say.
"I know," Futurina agreed, "it wasn't your intention to get me exiled.  I told you not to interfere, but you did anyway."
"I just wanted to help you," Santa explained.
"I know, but now isn't the time," Futurina confirmed pointing to the glowing red ruby.  "Krampus decided to resurrect her."
"Oh my," Santa reacted.  There was suddenly a gigantic glowing neon turkey in front of them.  Futurina was about to send it away with her telekinesis when Santa stopped her and touched it.  It filled him with the energy he needed.  He still looked haggard but he felt much better.
"I've got to contact Nova," He told her...
