My name is Xan'Xi Alar from the planet Alar, otherwise known as Captain Ultra.
As an Alarian, I am a gifted Polyglot who is cursed with Immortality. And by Immortality, I do not mean I am unkillable or will live forever, I mean that every time i die I regenerate and come back. This is not as cool as it sounds.
So like i was saying, I come from Alaria, which is part of the Legion, and once upon a time I was a General in the Legion, until I started to question their methodology and purpose.
According to the Legion and the Emperor, the Universe is a very, very hostile place, with planets which can substain sentient life being few and far between, and most of the Universe being practically hell bent on snuffing out what little there is. There are things out there that destroy entire Galaxies in the time it takes for the Human Heart to beat just once, and the only thing stopping the anhilation of all life in the Universe, is The Legion.
But it comes at a price, the price of constant warfare. A planet with a sentient life must prove themselves capable of a substainable and agressive defense.They must be willing to fight to defend themselves against any and all threats, and fight on no matter what the odds or the cost. If they can they are Invited to join the Legion, they are then given access to the full resources of the Legion to protect and improve their planet and their greatest warriors in turn serve in the Legion.
Unfortunently, after many, decades of living with this, our most holy of doctrines, our sacred way of life, I began to question this and as a result, by Royal Degree, I was declared Excominicate Traitorious, and executed many, many, times before finally being exiled to this small blue planet called Earth.
