Rosa's Story: not just someone's daughter

Macaia's Daughter
I was just a kid, afraid and scared, when my abilities manifested. Now I knew that my mother was the legendary protector of the rainforest and I was already exposed to adults with amazing abilities and gadgets, but I wasn't prepared one bit. One minute I'm with a number of trusted adults, the next thing these scary rock creatures had separated me from them.

I never want to experience such a feeling again. I think it drives me to never hold back at the sign of danger, to be honest.

To be able to manipulate the minds or bodies of others... you'd think I'd have been delighted... but at the time I was still terrified. I didn't know if I could control it.

Long story short, after the situation was resolved - oh my goodness there was a rescue involved, giant golems, men with flaming hair battling in the sky, all kinds of craziness - I was able to learn how to use these abilities. My godpa of course was my biggest fan and supporter, and has never stopped me from testing how far I can go. My mom of course has been instrumental in my training. While I inherited her powers of telekinesis, I can't fly... but considering my inabilities to steer a car straight, it's probably for the best!

It seems so long ago that I started this wild and crazy journey, working alongside men and women that I grew up admiring... and now am seen as a peer, an equal. Don't get me wrong, the others still see me as a little sister and all, but I've been able to hold my own over the years and am beyond grateful for the experiences that have come to me. I'm still alive, still breathing, and still learning along the way. And isn't that what life should be all about?

I'm passionate about the causes I believe in. Like rescuing Ability Mage. I was so eager to reach this dimension. Now I've made new friends, discovered new things and we've made headway in stopping this evil Legion force. The only thing I can't seem to get down however, is driving. Thank goodness for my teammates.
