SHINOBI VS THE SPIRIT NINJA

Shinobi received Nova’s order to report to the shuttle’s arboretum over the loud speakers and ran towards the arboretum where the other heroes were fighting the Spirit of Halloween.
Shinobi was hit by an orange glowing energy blast by the Spirit of Halloween as he entered the arboretum throwing him into one of the larger botanical specimens.
“THAT HURT!” yelled Shinobi as he picked himself up off the floor, looking around to find he was surrounded by a clan of evil pumpkin headed ninja. There were six of them surrounding Shinobi. Shinobi laughed and said out loud, “Six to one, I like these odds.”

Shinobi dispatched three of the six with a flurry of shuriken attacks. As each shuriken found its mark, a pumpkin head ninja exploded into an orange mist.

The other three pumpkin head ninja made their attack. As the pumpkin head ninja rushed towards Shinobi, they threw the chains of their kusarigama and ensnared Shinobi, three chains wrapped around his body. Shinobi could not move.

Shinobi fought to break the chains that held him but the remaining pumpkin head ninja fired simultaneous ki blasts so powerful that Shinobi was thrust through the hull of the shuttle. The hole torn in the hull also pulled debris and the pumpkin head ninja through the hole to plummet to Earth along with Shinobi, all in a free fall.

As Shinobi and the evil pumpkin head ninja fall towards a deadly landing on the Earth’s surface, Shinobi escaped the chains that bound him and used the chains to fight his enemies. Using his Flying Dragon Technique, Shinobi teleported himself to each pumpkin head ninja and wrapped them in their own chains. Shinobi laughs as he teleports once more safely to the ground in time to see his enemies hit the ground with a thud and explode into an orange mist. Shinobi couldn’t help it; he had to make a joke and said, “Awe, you mist me.”

Just as Shinobi thought it was all clear, six more pumpkin head ninja surrounded him. They began to slash at Shinobi with their bladed weapons. Shinobi draws out his own sword to block and cut, but as fast he was he could not dispatch them. These six were faster and stronger and Shinobi took many slashes to his body as he started to fight, bleeding and thrashing wildly to save himself from the onslaught.

Shinobi heard a familiar voice as he battled the six pumpkin head ninja so fiercely. It was Nova’s voice. Shinobi thought to himself, “I’m might make it out of this alive.” As Shinobi fought desperately, He heard Nova’s ominous voice say, “SHINOBI WAKE UP! AWAKEN SHINOBI!”

Shinobi blinked his eyes and looked around confused as he heard Nova say again, “SHINOBI WAKE UP! AWAKEN SHINOBI! STOP FIGHTING! THERE IS NOBODY THERE!”

Shinobi started to come to his senses as he felt for the bloody slashes he took from the pumpkin head ninja and there were none. He turned to see Nova shaking his head and smirking a bit. Only to realize he had been fighting so fiercely with the bushes and the trees in the arboretum.

Nova said with a slight grin, “Shinobi, you are okay and safe; you were manipulated by the Sprit of Halloween like the rest of us. I must say though, you definitely took care of business and all the pruning in the arboretum is done as well.”

Shinobi looked at Nova and said with a small chuckle, “Oh, okay, can we just keep this between us? It’s a little embarrassing.”

Nova was about to say, “Sure thing.” Then they both heard Chaz open his yap and say with a grin, “Nope, I got this all on cell phone and I’m about to click send. This is gonna make a great spot on my YouTube blog tonig...” Before Chaz could finish his sentence and click send, Shinobi threw three perfectly placed shuriken into Chaz’s cell phone destroying it instantly and holding one more as to say, this one is for you. Chaz looked a little shocked and replied, “That was really close. Can I at least get an interview?”
 
Nova and Shinobi looked at each other and then Nova said, “Nope. Shinobi and I are too busy. We have to clean up the Spirit’s candy mess.” Then Shinobi teleported himself and Nova to the nearest choke ‘n’ puke for a quick bite before going on to clean up the candy mess.
