The Healing of a Hero

Krystal knelt beside her injured compatriot, Starmaster.

"I know you're in pain...", she quietly spoke, "... and I think I can help if you'll let me.".

"Krystal... what are you doing? I feel... you are in my head...", Starmaster groaned.

"Normally, I can only do this with another of the Fae, but you are telepathic... were even before the Morphons enhanced it...,",
Krystal silently spoke in his mind, with her eyes fully closed,"... I'm transferring some of my own life-energy to you... that's all that will get you healed enough to fight quickly enough...".

Krystal took on a grayish pallor for a moment, then quickly recovered.

"Feeling better?  Good... now get off your ass and hit that beast...".

'Hearing' Starmasters concern, she focuses on the whereabouts of his suit.  ***BAMF*** "You'll probably need this...". she said.

Re: The Healing of a Hero

Starmaster
Starmaster propped himself up on his shoulders. Typically he was the prober when it came to telepathic encounters. He didn't quite know what too think of being the probee.

He did feel better. Not one-hundred percent, but a solid sixty, maybe even sixty-five.

He could still feel a faint touch of Krystal's presence in his mind. "Thanks for the recharge, but you shouldn't have used your energy on me. I owe you, but I have to repay a different debt first."

He grabbed his suit in both hands. "Boy, I've missed you."

As impressive as his Morphon powers were, the augmentations his suit provided made them even more so. He could tap into the potential energy of the Mindscape with it, using that energy to bolster his own abilities.

He shunted his combat suit into his Mind Closet, sending it into the Mindscape for a brief instant before recalling it around his body. His clothing given to him by BADGE to infiltrate Onnatunga appeared in a pile at his feet. Why waste time undressing? He had a score to settle.

"OK, Skelanimal," Starmaster lifted into the air. "Time for round two, but this time I have some friends. After we've taken you down, I'm going to find Chase and make sure to ruin Krampus's Christmas for the next century."
