Those of you who played SHC may remember with fondness the on-going forum feature "Ask Auntie Pink".

While I am no 'Post-modern Pugilist', I can make snarky comments and try to be funny as a 'pseudo' journalistic 'Agony Aunt'.

Place your problems, questions and comments in this space and I'll get to them when I'm able... (generally when I'm bored and waiting for fights/energy to recharge)

Stay in character (more fun that way) and please remember that children / teens may be on here, so keep it PG-13, kids...

Hello there Agony Aunt, I desperately need some help.  

My wife and I have been together for years.  In fact, many years before I developed the super powers.  Since then, I have had to spend many evenings away from her and from home helping to save the world.  She struggles with this and wants to spend time together, and it has gotten so bad that she hides my super hero costume to make sure I can't go out when we have plans.  What do I do to make it better?

While your responsibilities as a superhero are earth-shakingly important, you must try to find a balance that allows you to give your wife the attention she deserves.

You must remember that you are not SOLELY responsible for every life on the planet.  Carve out a bit of time to make your woman feel appreciated.

Also, buy or make a duplicate suit and store it somewhere your wife doesn't have easy access to, just in case.

It has been a very long time 'Auntie Acid' and yet at the same time not nearly long enough since we last corresponded. I am happy to see you have continued to work on reawakening your dormant powers from the dimension most of us escaped from (or were later freed rom depending on one's viewpoint.)

My fellow members of Ice Ray Academy (rp characters not ingame players in my league of the same name) have a dilemma. The current ruler of what is here the United States has recently gone on a rampage against illegal immigrants and our mutual friends ???????? ????????? and Corrine Daniels as is wellknown are not exactly known for being able to have greencards.

What advice would you offer that would prevent non magical conflict between my academy and this racist bigot, please pardon my language.

Simply apply through B.A.D.G.E. auspices for 'work visas'...

While this is supposed to be an 'advise' -type column, it just so happens that I have the information you seek.

When one begins playing in the Heroes Rising tooniverse, you are assigned 5 'henchmen' to activate your power cards... as you level, one usually discovers that some of your 'friends' from Facebook (the 'platform' which HR uses to 'host' the game)  already play and may be added to your list of in-game friends/henchmen, activating more cards as you gain levels...

For those who either are disinclined to add others who play to their in-game friends simply to activate additional power cards or have reached the total number of Facebook friends who are also players, one can 'buy' additional in-game 'henchmen' to activate cards as you continue to gain levels.

Hope this information is of use to you in your future gaming.

In those forums which you are describing, a good friend and league mate did indeed run a seemingly much more popular version of an advice column.

Sadly, the person who played/wrote as Pink, the Post-modern Pugilist, has, because of her other obligations,  elected thus far not to join this game and its forum.

In my own small way, I had hoped to do her the homage of attempting a similar column, but it has not been as well-received, and will likely not receive much attention in the future... should that change, I will try to continue in her admittedly large footsteps.

I'm afraid I wouldn't know.  I hit KoTM events only til I get my daily win and I hit FC only for the crystals and MP, and usually make the top 5...

I've never been exceptionally strong, but my strength is that I never give up, and I don't take it personally...

Watch those triple R&Cs... too many can make you fly funny... (Don't ask me HOW I know...)
