The Origin of The Sword of Gerraxia Part 2

The Sword of Gerraxia
In the forest near the home of Gerri Star there is a Fairy Ring.  Near the fairy ring is a tree with an elvish rune.  This rune notifies the Star family if something comes through.  The fairy ring is a ring of flowers and mushrooms in a perfect circle.  A small goblinoid creature wearing a red cap stepped through the fairy ring onto the Earth.  The rune lit up notifying the Star family.  This was the same day that Gerri received her ring.  The day the Morphons arrived.  This had an effect on the small creature as it began to grow, and sprouted red fur as it moved towards the town where Gerri lived it took on a bear-like appearance.  It was looking to wreak a little chaos.  It would do more than just a little.
***
As the green flames enveloped Gerri she could feel the energy.  She knew she could control it.  She also knew the energy was from her and not the ring.  The ring was the conduit not the source.  She looked at the ring and the runes her father had etched onto it.  "Green Flame Sword", "Shadow Clone", "Force Bolt" and "Haste" were the runes.
"Wow!  Gerri can control the old powers," her younger brother exclaimed.
"No one since Gerraxia has been able to," her father explained.  "We've used only runes for generations."
"Speaking of which," her mother interjected, "something has come through the portal."
Her father went over and checked to see the report from the rune.  "It looks like a Red Cap Scout, but something strange is going on with it."
"Well, maybe I can do something about that," Gerri stated.
"You're not going out there alone," her father stated, "You're inexperienced and Red Cap's are dangerous."
"Okay," she pouted.  Her father grabbed his keys and they headed towards the door.
"Be careful, Honey," her mother kissed her father.  "You too, sweety."
***
The Red Cap was now an eight foot tall bear-like monster laughing at the chaos it was creating.  It had red fur and sharp teeth and claws.  It's eyes were glowing yellow.  It swatted a bus out of its path.  It was breathing fire at the humans and watching the run in terror.  Someone had enough conscience to call B.A.D.G.E.  Gerri's boyfriend, James Keebler, was on the scene.  He was also an elf using glamours to walk among the humans.
"Holy Sh--, that's a Red Cap?" James wondered aloud.
"No, that used to be a Red Cap," Gerri's father corrected.  "Something altered it as it came through the fairy ring.  Good to see you, James."
"Thanks," James said as he took the readings from Gerri's father.  "What do we call it now?"
"Whatever it wants," Gerri said.  She gave James a quick hug.  She pointed her hand towards the creature.  A bolt of force shot out and knocked the creature back.  "Hey, what do we call you?" she asked.
"Redd Capp," it giggled.  "This is so much fun!"  Redd Capp threw a dumpster towards the three of them.  "Delightful Chaos!"

The opening charm I promised...

Note: can only be properly pronounced by a few sorcerers. most elves, a handful of Fairys, and the Fae, of course.

In Auld High Elvish- "Em Zes Nepo..."

Be careful... improper pronunciation could cause the portal to be directed to an alternative dimension, several of which no one sane would care to visit.
